I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t so much happier with my and Brian’s new arrangement.

I really do like to be independent and I never thought I’d be happy living off of him to a degree. But truthfully, I was happy.

I didn’t have to worry about finances, I didn’t have to live in a shit stain of an apartment, and I got to spend constant time with him now without worrying about who would see.

Of course, I was still looking for a job, but in the meantime I was happy. I was just soaking up our new relationship.

I had already been spending every night at his place since we decided I’d move in, but today was the last day of my lease so we were moving the last of my things in.

Brian had hired movers to pick up the rest of my things. He didn’t want me to lift a finger, which was a common theme in our lives lately. He wanted to take care of everything for me. It was so sweet.

Brian got a call that the movers arrived and we both went down there, even though he insisted it was unnecessary for me to come. But I was feeling cooped up in the house and thought some fresh air might do me good.

I immediately regretted it. When we got down there, we were instantly swarmed by several papparazi who were waiting outside of his house.

This was my first time really having to deal with them and I was instantly overwhelmed. Brian noticed and reacted accordingly.

“Everyone, I need you to step back and give me and my man some space. If you do that, I will gladly answer your questions after I deal with these movers. If you don’t, you won’t get a word out of me.”

They obliged.

I hear this is normal with the paparazzi, for them to make agreements with the people they’re following in hopes of getting more information they can use.

Brian walked over to the movers, directed them to his apartment, and said a few things I couldn’t hear before walking back over to me.

“Alright, if you guys leave my movers alone and give us space, I’ll answer a few questions.”

One mans hand shot up first.

“Yes.” Brian looked at him as he took a photo.

“Who is this? Is he moving in with you?”

I looked up at Brian expectingly.

“Yes.” He answered honestly. “This is my boyfriend, and he is moving in with me.” He seemed to think for a second. “Yes, you heard me right. There’s a story for all your gossip columns. I’m gay. Have a good day.” He grinned and waved goodbye.

I was speechless. I was not expecting that announcement. Not this soon, anyway.

“Brian!” I gasped as we walked away.

“It was going to come out anyway. And you know what? I’m tired of not claiming you. You got to tell all your friends, but I’ve got very few friends who care about my life. Except my fans. My fans care, and if sharing this info with them is the only way I can claim you as the love of my life, so be it.
